Attendance Milestone: School attendance has risen above the national average for the first time in three years. The weekly 100% attendance raffle continues, rewarding three pupils with brand-new books each Friday.
Uniform Reminder: Parents and carers are kindly requested to label clearly all autumn coats, jumpers, and cardigans.
School Developments: KAPS is expanding Children's Centre services with Croydon Family Hubs, exploring wider community use of the adjacent field, progressing dining hall renovation plans, and finalising HMRC/Ofsted registration for after-school childcare vouchers.
Parent Feedback Survey: A multi-language parent survey (available in English, Urdu, and Arabic) is currently open until Friday, 16th October - Please share your thoughts and experiences with us.

Phonics & Early Reading Drop-In: Early Years and Year 1 families can visit the KS1 Hall during Parents' Evening for practical reading advice and a free Bookmark Story Starter goodie bag.
Geography Exhibition: Hosted in the KS2 Hall, showcasing creative home projects from Year 1 through Year 6.
Parent Voice Station: An online survey feedback station will be available in the Rainforest Area during Parents' Evening.
Early Years: Nursery built collaborative roadways, Daisy Class experienced sensory regulation obstacle circuits, Poppy Pathway practised countdown rocket maths, and Reception launched an Emergency Services topic.
Key Stage 1: Year 1 created Paul Klee-inspired abstract art and seasonal fingerprint tree art. Year 2 built working rainwater gauges, created under-the-sea collages, studied civil rights icon Rosa Parks, and investigated how germs spread.
Lower Key Stage 2: Year 3 crafted clay volcano models and sketched imaginary plants from seeds. Year 4 calculated global food travel distances in kilometres and explored physical wellbeing through movement.
Upper Key Stage 2: Year 5 authored original mythologies and designed mystical creatures while solving regrouping maths puzzles. Year 6 learned clothing vocabulary in Spanish and modelled blood components using everyday materials.
