Our Curriculum

At the heart of Kensington Avenue Early Years and Foundation Stage we passionately believe that children learn through play. By presenting our children with a range of stimulating and challenging activities, we nurture the opportunity for our children to experience them in their own way and at their own pace.

To support this we adopt a holistic attitude to children’s learning. It has been proven that children learn best through hands-on experiences which offer the ability to foster a child’s natural motivations to investigate and discover the world around them based on their interests.

We regard each child as a unique individual. By considering the ‘whole child’ it enables us as practitioners to facilitate all development areas being engaged within each interaction and experience provided in order to nurture a love of learning.
